A Prime Day Guide for People Who Breathe
I’m hitting your inbox early this week in case you wanted some respiration with your retail therapy
It's time for one of the modern era’s most excessive displays of rampant consumerism – Amazon Prime Day. Or actually, as my inbox is crowing at me, “Prime Big Deal Days”, happening October 8-9.
I know a lot of people boycott this made-up “holiday” that happens multiple times a year. I understand, and I completely respect that.
In fact, as your friendly neighborhood breathwork coach, you might be expecting me to tell you that life is all about minimalism and finding peace within, not through things.
But I’m not gonna be all judgy if you decide to shop.
I do have a suggestion though…
Instead of buying more sweatpants or another set of food storage containers or that weird embarrassing thing that’s been sitting in your cart since 2017, invest in tools that actually support your well-being.
Of course, with breathwork, the most important tool in your arsenal is always free and constantly available.
Woot woot!
But a little extra support never hurts. So if you’re looking to add some zen to your cart among all the chaos and countdown timers, here are some Prime Day picks to help enhance your breathwork practice.
🎵 Sound Therapy for Serene Breaths 🎵
Sun in Moon Singing Bowl Set by Ohm Store
Picture settling in for your breathwork session, and with the gentle strike of a mallet, filling your room with soothing vibrations.
That could be you just a few days from now with this singing bowl... after all, isn’t fast shipping part of why you have Amazon Prime?
And this handmade black etched singing bowl isn't just a pretty face (though it does make for some killer boho décor). It's a ticket to instant calm, perfect for setting the mood for a mindful breathing session.
Plus, it’s handcrafted in Nepal by local artisans who are paid fairly – so it’s a legit case of “shopping for good”.
Tibetan Singing Bowls Machine
For those days when you're too relaxed (or, let's be honest, too lazy) to manually play a singing bowl, this electronic wonder has got your back. With 11 different sounds, it's basically a personal sound bath technician at your service.
It also has adjustable colored lighting, timers, and memory features, making it super easy to use and customize for your mood.

Flō Stress Relief Mindful Necklace
Next time you feel stress creeping in, just… grab your necklace and breathe into it?
Yup. Sounds weird, but this sleek necklace doubles as a discreet breathwork tool.
Engineered to create long exhales, it’s like carrying the world’s most portable breathwork studio around your neck. Super practical and far more effective than staring at your computer while trying to “stay calm.”
Mindsight 'Breathing Buddha' Guided Visual Meditation Tool
Enjoy paced breathing but hate staring at a stopwatch?
I getcha. If I start doing breathwork while I’m a little keyed up, sometimes clock-watching reminds me of an episode of 24.
Relaxing? Not so much.
This little Buddha is the ideal solution. The lights can guide you through two breath patterns – resonant breath and 4-7-8 breath – no need for a stopwatch or keeping track of a count in your head.
It’s perfect for when you need to find your calm before that big presentation… or any time or day of the week. I keep mine on my desk near my monitor and leave it on while I work to remind me to pay attention to my breathing.
My cat loves it too!
📚 Breathwork Brain Food 📚
"Breath" by James Nestor
For those about to rock who want to geek out on the science of breathing, this book's got you covered. It’s a snappy and journalistic look into the evolution of how we breathe, and it’s entertaining, informative, and slightly terrifying.
Fair warning: You will never think about your nose the same way again.
"The Oxygen Advantage” by Patrick McKeown
If "The Breathing Cure" whets your appetite, "Breath" will satisfy your craving for all things respiratory. This in-depth exploration of how oxygen affects the body is packed with practical tips for better physical and mental health… but in an accessible, unboring way.
🧳 Breathing on the Go 🧳
Taking your breathwork on the road?
If you’re heading to the spa or getting on a plane, the Depoza 16 Pack Travel Bottles Set makes life so much easier.
They’re TSA approved (I wouldn’t recommend them if they weren’t).
So fill ‘em up with your favorite essential oils or other liquids of choice, and create a mental association for yourself to actively focus on your breathing whenever you use them.
Heading to the beach or yoga studio? Pick up a JBL Go 3 Portable Speaker.
It’s waterproof and packs more power than you’d expect for its size. Whether you're waterside or forest bathing, you'll always be able to hear your audio cues.

Antica Farmacista Home Ambiance Diffuser in Santorini
You’re probably not in Santorini right now, but this room diffuser will make you feel like you are.
I mean, you have to close your eyes, of course. You can’t feel like you’re on some blue-and-white soaked Grecian holiday while staring at that pile of papers on your desk.
But once you stop seeing the actual room you’re in… and start smelling this warm, sunny fragrance… you really might just feel like you’re there for a moment or two.
It's like a quick breathwork retreat, minus the jet lag and overpriced club-hopping in Mykonos. And it comes in multiple sizes, so it’s perfect whether you like to try new scents or are more committed.
More of a candle lover?
Friday Collective candles are so much fun, and I love this one in spite of the completely overdone name. #IYKYK
It smells tropical and light, two words I never expected to say in the same sentence. And the fruity scent is a nice counterpoint to the bajillions of spicy and floral smelling candles out there.
😴 Nighttime Nirvana 😴
Noise Blocking Earbuds for Sleep
These earbuds won’t directly affect your breathing… but you’ll definitely be able to focus on it more since these babies are super effective at blocking out external noises. With 4.5 hours of playtime, you can doze off breathing to music and then sail right into blissful sleeping silence.
Snoring partner? What snoring partner?
🌛 Super Splurge 🕊️
Moonbird Breathing & Meditation Device
This biofeedback device gamifies your breathing. You can feel the “bird” expand and contract in your hand while you breathe. The app shows you your breath rate, heart rate, heart rate variability and more.
I kind of want one… and I kind of worry that I would want to play with it all. the. time. At least for a couple weeks, and then I’d let it fade into obscurity in a drawer.
But if you’re feeling spendy and like wearables and health devices, this could be cool to try.
Last Gasp
In the end, these gadgets and gizmos can certainly enhance your breathwork practice, but the most powerful tool for transformation is always your breath itself – which isn’t on sale because it's already free.
So whether you decide to splurge or simply stick to your usual inhale-exhale routine, know that you're already equipped with everything you need to find balance and feel better every day.
If you do end up snagging any of these breathwork goodies, I'd love to hear about it!
Drop me a line and let me know how they're working for you. And if you need any tips on incorporating them into your life, you know how to find me.
